Neighborhood Watch
In November of 2012, the Twin Lakes Community formed a Neighborhood Watch Program.
Our meetings are bi-monthly, with a summer hiatus, and issues covered are community safety, crime prevention, fire and other disaster preparedness, and health and sanitation issues. Los Angeles County Sheriff and Los Angeles County Fire Departments, as well as the COPS Bureau have sent representatives to our meetings. Kathleen Misko is the Neighborhood Watch Block Captain, elected at the March 2, 2016 meeting.
Goals are to establish a list of residences and the number of those residing within, including pets, set up a phone tree, and establish a community evacuation plan. This year promises to be a very dangerous year for brush fires. If you can help with setting up this list, please contact us.
Please check this website for notification of our next meeting! Come to find out what’s going on in the community and to relay any concerns you might have..
Neighborhood Watch Programs are invaluable tools for dispensing community information and educating everyone about how we can make our community safer.
Please help increase our communication in the neighborhood! To join the Twin Lakes Neighbrohood Watch Google Group and notify the community of suspicious activity, go to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/twin-lakes-neighborhood-watch and click on "Subscribe to this Group".
